Scales broke
Its got quite hot here so here 104f today so losing weight is quite easy right now
My main measure is a belt I own, i have had it for maybe 10 years and was once close to being on the biggest setting, i had to cut two new holes in it, on the smallest setting now which is 7inches less round the waist than i was 5 years ago.
Maintaining no more than 85kg seems easy these days when there was a time i was 100kg, i expect my weight to rise as i am going to start lifting heavier weights and eating more to gain strength
I am not on a diet I am living a healthy life, weightloss is just part of it

Stupid scales are broken, this is the second time since i joined this site!
I am on the lowest belt setting, so i know i am in pretty good shape, but i like to see numbers..
I know weight fluctuates a lot but today I would have expected to see 78 dead

Really want ice cream
I am in Italy
Its practically mandatory
Even my dog is called Gelato!
Going for a walk with dog.. it may or may not get ice cream

Do not trust everything you read on the internet.
So yesterday I went for a 12km walk, I was carrying 25lbs (i am a man and do not want to be accussed of power walking which is a ladies activity! lol)
So i have in the past few days had a mental switch back on to focusing on weight and fitness more and am working into a routine that will reduce my weight and improve my fitness (I did not log in here for 2 months or so and i realised that logging in here really focuses me on what I am and am not doing)
So anyway i went online to find how many calories i would have consumed with this walk, i used to walk over 100km a week and have decided I will find the time in my day to do this walk each day (one day off a week is ok) until i hit the number i want for summer. So thinking about exercise shows me to be in a good frame of mind and i went online, anyway, different websites gave different info, no exact caluclations, but it seems i will use approx 1000 calories doing this.
BUT the point is of this ramble, i found various websites that told me what my calorie intake should be daily
AGED 40

175LBS
One site said 1375
Another said 2750
I know that the reality is with exercise that for me i like to create a daily deficit of 1000 calories so but wow is that a big variation.
Now.. my plan going forward which i hope to do for 7 days (Do it for 7 days it will become routine) is this
1. Walk dogs in the am.. just so they can go do what dogs need to do
2. Jillian Michaels 30 day shred level 1
3. 12km walk with pack arrive back at around 2pm.. so that is am taken care of
4. walk dogs properly around 4pm
5. post dinner Jillian michaels level 2
6. walk dogs night time
I am self employed and really my work takes very little time, the likelihood is the dogs will get another 30min walk somewhere in there.. but the total NON dog walking time is only around 3 hours, with just over 2 hours of that being a lovely stroll along the sea..
I feel great after a week or so back on this site and had started doing 100 press ups whilst walking the dogs... got easy fast as all the old exercise is still in there..
i am rambling
100% difference in recommended calories from the web.. do not trust everything

I am dog sitting so took my dog and the visitor for a bonus walk
Decided to randomly do 10 press ups as dogs had wandered off (My dog always runs to me when I do this) then decided, every time I pass a clump of trees 10 pressups fun times until 80, 90 and 100...
I think i will do this from now on.. great way to get 100 push ups done (Although did look a little daft probably to the guy that saw me doing the last 10 ahahahha, i was struggling like hell and he must have thought WTF ahahhah, at 7 i thought i was going to die but knew this guy had only see me do 7 and obviously i was not just doing 7 random pushups and looking like a beetroot so i did 10, totally dead.. )
