Slow and steady-ish ... got flooded in, lost power, lost mobile service then finally lost the landline. Luckily we have a generator which kept the fridge cold but I didn't eat particularly well over that week. I've been more careful of portion sizes, I have a bad habit of sneaking up the size of my meals.
But it was a nice feeling to step on the scales and realise that I have now lost 30kg.
Still more to lose, some days I catch my reflection in shop windows and wonder at the slimmer person in the reflection, other days I still feel fat. Six more kilos and I'll cross the line from being classified as obese to overweight. That's my next mini goal

Good grief, my weight loss has slowed and it's driving me nuts. I'm still maintaining the low carb diet but getting out for exercise has been a challenge especially with the crazy weather here in SE Queensland. I've been making progress on reducing my reliance on ready made curry pastes and have switched to making the curries from scratch. I've also successfully made my own bone broth, tastes pretty good and should have heaps of collagen. Celery with homemade hummus is my latest craze and hopefully a healthier snack. Today I found an interesting doco about low carb Vs low fat diets on YouTube, it's definitely worth watching.

I went on a road trip last weekend and it was quite difficult to find suitable food along the way, those highway servos don't have a great variety. I did the best I could, took low-carb snacks with me yet still managed to gain a little weight. it's taken me all week to beat it back and turn it around.
