I am a 40 something mother of three and I live in Scotland.
I used to have a terrible sugar and chocolate addiction. (I have the fillings to prove it!) I was putting on weight and showing all the signs of serious carbohydrate intolerance and very close to becoming pre-diabetic. That was over two years ago now and by quitting the sugar and following a low carb diet I have lost about 10kg.
I am now following The Primal Blueprint (http://www.marksdailyapple.com/#axzz1xlasJhzP)
and have quit wheat, artificial sweeteners and for now dairy too, to see if it will help improve my acne. I am also starting to follow The Primal Blueprint fitness programme.
I am hoping to get fit, improve my health and get my weight down to 60kg (and maybe eventually 58kg but that's a way off in the distance goal)
