i think that i should slow down on weighing myself every single day a couple times a day.. i find it frustrating.

Well, a couple times a day isn't good. Your body weighs more as the day goes longer (up to four pounds more!). Always weigh yourself once a day, same time of the day, same clothes on...and it will be more accurate. It would be even wiser to do it every three days, because your body needs time to balance itself out.
