MarelYVR's Journal, 13 Jan 08

Good morning,

Well, I've been on phase 2 for a few days and I've been far from perfect... that said, I'm pretty happy with what I've been doing. On Friday night there was a pub night with some colleagues from work and I had a taco salad. Not great but I ordered it without sour cream and guacamole and didn't eat the tortilla chips and only had half of what was on my plate. It was really good but I was pleased with my discipline to have half. I guess out of that, the only cheat was the ground beef.

Last night was another challenge. I had won a charity auction with some friends from work to have a few colleagues cook dinner for us. The menu and the day was set about a month ago so I couldn't make it really "diet-friendly". the menu was Thai food and it was quite good. I did manage to avoid all of the martinis and had a half glass of wine for the night. A lot of it was definitely "off-diet" but I'll go back to being perfect today.

So, off for my oatmeal!

Have a great day!

Mary
