Ain't it amazing how quickly we pick weight up, but you struggle and work your ass off to loose a few grams?!!

Saturday morning after parkrun (I just walked - man could I feel my operated leg had worked!) I weighed and was at 95.1, then Sunday morning back to 96.1 (Think that was more because of parkrun and having gotten bloody flowing etc), and then after yesterdays birthday party - 97.1!

A kg in a day!

Ok yes, I was VERY naughty and shouldn't whine - but it's astounding just how quickly the body converts the bad stuff but won;t let the fat go so easily!

Makes one wish I'd worked back in my 20's!

Your body didn't convert the bad stuff quickly. Anything food or liquid you consume has weight so if you eat 1kg of food/drinks at night, you can be sure that the scale will show you a gain on the scale almost the same as the weight of food/liquid you consumed. That's if you didn't use the loo before weighing yourself. lol.

Lol, i wish that was the case.....the weigh in was the next morning!

Carbs are converted and stored as glycogen. For every 1gram of glycogen that your body stores, it requires to also store 2.7grams of water. Don't stress yourself. Just keep at it and enjoy these days/nights when u need to :)
