We just got back from France where I took it upon myself to sample croissants from a different boulangerie each morning.
Plus the extra eating while on holiday.
And before that, I was out of action from leg surgery.
So, I am back up to 85 kilos, a weight which I hoped I would never see again.
This is the third day that I have started recording my intake again, and it is lunch time, and I am kind of going better than yesterday, and the day before.
The worst thing about starting over again is just how often one thinks of food. It has been non-stop - from still feeling hungry after breakfast to constant time checks to see if it was lunch yet. And I guess it will be the same for the rest of the afternoon, waiting for dinner.
One of the main thing that I need to look at is the amount of sugary crap that I keep eating. I have had two friends bring over biscuits this week, and they are just sitting there on the bench while I nibble through them. I guess I could chuck them in the bin, but then I feel bad because of the perceived waste of food, but also, I end up feeling all of this self-loathing that I can't even have some regular biscuits sitting on the bench without wanting to eat the entire packet.
Maybe I should just throw them away.
I really just need to get on with it. I have this problem every time I restart - it starts hard, then it goes well for a few days, then I lose a kilo, and I give myself "a break" - ignoring that "the break" is what got me here in the first place.
I feel really down about all of this at the moment.
