I went to sleep early yesterday oh it was great!!! Both kids were down by 9pm....i got to do my workouts ,cleaned a little and went to sleep...I don't get too many nights like these!

Extra sleep=extra energy! Bet that was nice! My 2-year old usually stays up late, and after I get her down, I need some time to wind down, so I don't get to bed early enough. I need to, though. It was hard to get up this morning to work out!

What is better for you working out at night or in the morning???

AWESOME!! I'm jealous! lol I am not sure what is best, but I would guess morning since it gets your metabolism and adrenaline going. So, it may be harder to sleep, but I could be wrong! :)

The experts say morning is better unless you are getting up to early and interfering with your sleep. Getting enough sleep is just as important. Studies have shown people who don't get enough sleep(atleast 7 hours) are at higher risk of gaining weight as opposed to those getting the recommended 8 hours a night. I personally work out at night. I have to wait til the kiddos are in bed. And making a strict bedtime is the best thing I have EVER done. I put both of mine down at 8 or 8:30 at the latest. I have ME time and quiet time with the Mr. I used to let my daughter stay up til 10 or 11 b.c she just didn't seem tired. Now i put her to bed at 8 and she is out like a light within 10 minutes! And we are much happier!! All 4 of us!

good advice graciepoo... i did enjoy myself last night cause i do love spending quite time with my man... i will try working out in the morning this week...we'll se how that works out! thanks everyone else for giving me asweome input!

I *totally* agree with graciepoo on this one. I gained the bulk of my weight when my babes were young and I was definitely not getting enough sleep. Hard to have energy to exercise and the right frame of mind for healthy eating if we're so worn out. These days my 2 girls are in bed by 8:30 and the time after that is essential for my well being. :)
