My weight has gone up this week, but I have started weight training and I know that muscle weighs more than fat. At 44, 120 lbs isnt bad, and it sure is a lot better than the 160 I was three years ago!!!

When you first start working out (especially strength training), your muscles get little tears in the fibers and they retain water to help them heal. This can show on the scale as a temporary gain, no loss, or small loss. It will go away when your muscles get used to the new exercise. It actually takes months of hard work for a women to gain actual muscle. Google "why the scale lies" for some insight.
