Maybe on New Year's Day I'll sit down and read all my journal entries since this journey began. For now, I'm making it through the holiday parties and gaterings; not being 100% faithful to my WOE but close and still on track for my five pound loss for December. Usually by now in the season I am tired and cranky; this year I have been much more energetic and happy to host events. I'm really looking forward to Christmas weekend and the week following. I don't want to wish time away, as time with my family is precious. But from an eating/working out standpoint, I'll be glad to get back to my regular routine in January!

Congratulations, you're doing great, and on track to meet your goals. Christmas is always a mixed Blessing; we love to get with our family and friends, this time of the year, but the eating can throw us off a bit here and there; so we are anxious to resume our healthier routines, once they are over. Merry Christmas; enjoy the time, spent with family, as well as the food, and begin the new year with a new excitement towards reaching those weightloss goals. :-)

Being on track for a 5-pound loss....in December......and after having lost over 40 pounds.....is indeed a very, very strong accomplishment. Have a wonderful holiday.
