Been on a 4 day stall even tho my calories are under 800 and carbs under 20. So going back to liquid protein for a couple of days to see if that gets me kick started. From another support group I'm in I'm told it is the notorious "3rd week stall". Very common after VSG. *sigh*

Atkins recommends fat fast when you get stuck on a plateau. I love Atkins! Hang in there Rhon!

It's not a stall until/unless it lasts for 2-4 weeks. Your body has been through a lot, and needs to find equilibrium. As you heal, a liquid diet may be easier on tour stomach and keep you balanced.

Hi Rhontique. I had a lap-band surgery about 10 years ago and I was pretty much on protein drinks and liquids for the first 8 weeks. It was difficult but I lost 30 pounds in the first 3 weeks. Multi-vitamins and drinking plenty of water really helped with energy levels as well as limiting hair loss. I usually had 3 to 5 protein drinks a day depending on hunger. Best wishes on your journey. <3
