i have a cold still! dang thing keeps hanging on. but im off today and am gonna rest and keep on track. A little later im gonna go for a nice walk, nothing too strenuous. Im really feeling tired.
Nonetheless, im in a great mood and pleased with how everything is going. I am feeling more hungry lately and im sure its the higher carbs in my diet the last few days. Im just not feeling like eating much and i guess its a comfort food thing with feeling sick. I havent felt like going to the store and picking up anything as i normally do.
LOL. i just read what i wrote and said im feeling more hungry and im not feeling like eating much. wonder what that means lol. i will be glad when im back to normal :)

Lol Stacy..... Re the not feeling hungry / am feeling more hungry thing. I agree, when you don't feel well you want comfort food. I find a homemade soup does wonders, you can make it healthy and low carb - but it is still comforting. I just made a beef and tomato one - 1 whole onion diced, 1 whole carrot diced, celery stick diced, fry in a little oil until soft. Then add a tin of chopped tomatoes, about half a can of water, beef stock cube, herbs of your choice, dash soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper - bring to boil and simmer gently for about 5 minutes (I also added a splash of red wine). I served it with 1/4 slice of toasted bread each (had half slice left from breakfast) which had a slice of low fat cheese on that I melted quickly in microwave - then cubed up and sprinkled in top.... Delicious.
Hope you feel better soon and enjoy you walk
