Amazing how what you take in affects your day. Have been experimenting with adding in flax (MIM's), and find that one day is ok but several days in a row and I am feeling badly. Not only bloated, but my joints ache and I'm tired. Weird. I felt so good on Atkins the first couple of months but it seems that as I try to add in foods other than vegies and protein, I have 'issues'. Even my favorite vegies are making me feel bloated (cabbage, cauliflower, brocolli). Sigh.

Also added in Magnesium Citrate 800 mg - it does help me relax for sleep, but it does not help with constipation as I had hoped. Have been on it one week with mixed results.

Might go back to a simple induction style eating for a week or so to get my system back on track. Also need to log-in how I am feeling so when I look back I can understand what foods make me feel good and what foods do not.

OK....eggs, sausage, salad, protein and vegies today. Lots of water too. Maybe that will help!

On the positive side, I bought a pair of size 14 pants earlier in the summer and of course they were way too small; wore them to work yesterday - that was fun!

Bet you felt great in those pants! Definitely keep up on the water to see if that helps with the other issue. You're right that magnesium, veggies, salad, and water should all help, so it's probably just a matter of finding out what combination actually will work best for you. Good luck.

Congratulations on being able to wear the size 14 pant! That's so great. I agree, drink lots of water. I usually eat only 1/2 muffin, hubby eats the other half. What seems to do me in the most are Atkins snacks. Yesterday I ate the peanut butter cups, not a good idea. Weight still has not changed.
