Glad to hear that Val! Doing ok here. Not really hungry yet. Likely that will hit this afternoon! Next time I need to plan to have better drinks in the house beforehand. Doing water, teas, and black coffee so far

Same Holly. I did mine on only black tea & coffee and infused water

I need to read up on ketosis I think, and how that plays into all this. So far so good with just those but a bit of juice sure would hit the spot!

Personally, I think that the hype around keytosis and autophagy is a little overrated. However, that being said, I also think coming to our own conclusions based on availble data is important as well. So for that reason, I would suggest a trying a study database search tool such as https://consensus.app/ I quite like it as you can quickly find decent info, and it will generate "Key takeaways" from the studies it finds if you don't want to read though the whole thing every time.

Stomachmonkeys, thanks for the tip. I will definitely look that up. Sounds like a lot more reliable and streamlined info than what google is coughing up. Can spend hours researching and get more frustrated than began. I have always just approached health/weight loss from common sense POV but these days my metabolism is procrastinating more than it used to so am having to invest a lot more creativity into it. Especially as I get closer to goal. Another 10 or 12 more pounds to go for me. Thanks for the good input!

Building lean mass is a painfully slow process, isn’t it? Lots of patience and consistency…and more patience…. Glad you are finding consensus useful. It’s a great resource in my opinion 😎
