They say that reducing stress is important to losing weight. I really have not figured out how to reduce stress.
Had a small biopsy today. Results next week. Meantime my daughter who is moving was dragging her feet about making reservations for the storage unit and movers so we had an argument while I was on my way to the doctor - my blood pressure was 150 over whatever! Too high! I set everything up, then she said she and her dad would take care of it, then thought it out and had the boyfriend put his two cents in and then finally a minute ago decided to go with the plan I had and now we have to try to uncancel everything. Ugh.
Everything will work out I am sure but the bad part is that I have to go out of town so can't help with the move. And I need someone to feed the birds on Tuesday when she is probably packing up.
I had a fat-percent test done on the machine at the gym. For my height and current fat percent, my BMR is 1350, according to the calculation and also in my experience maintaining this current weight. So, to go to 1800 calories I would gain a pound a week fairly easily.
Right now the plan is weights 3 times a week, and walking and dancing as available. I should probably add walking at least on the treadmill. 10,000 steps is what 5 miles?
I don't know. Maybe I should just cut out the starches. I think I had success in the past that way, no way bread, pasta, potatoes.

I would definitely try for the 10000 steps a day and cut back on the bread, pasta, potatoes.

I'm thinking that out of all that you have going on in your world... Missing out on the move may count in the positive column. I know that I'm not sorry to miss out on Granddaughter's 2nd move this year. I'll pay for the U-haul... You pack play with your friends.
