abbadabba's Journal, 08 Jul 24

Well, July is jam-packed already. One daughter moving her stuff to my house, the other trying to figure what to do next and flailing. Gotta organize my cottage which I didn't do because I had Covid and couldn't travel the 100 miles there and back to do anything.
On top of this, I have to have a biopsy for unusual test results. I dread the procedure, any follow up pains, and also what might be the results.
I am stressed but I am focusing on eating well. Chopped up a salad last night and cut everything into little pieces, mixed the dressing with some yogurt, and that was good. I like the chopped salad concept, where you chop everything up so you can't recognize it, got in some veggies that I didn't want to cook cause it was so hot.
Now my window air conditioner is acting up. Why now? Dang it. 94 degrees Fahrenheit today!

I love chopped salads too. About the only way I like kale. I am sending a prayer for you and yours. I hope the test results are good. Too hot not to have A/C.

Love the salad idea. You know with the heat the AC has to run longer and harder so it makes sense that it would act up when it is hotter, hopefully the temperatures will go down soon. We have had several days of 100+ temps and anther two weeks with temps of 105-110 range I am staying indoors as much as possible and only going out in the evening to water the flowers and veggies.
