Can also add things like beef protein or egg protein into fold/beverages to up your consumption if you’re trying to hit a target. Mark Bell’s Steak Shake sounds good. It’s not cheap though…🤑

You guys are very fortunate to not have food sensitivities/restrictions! I was ckecking out some of the protein powders at Walmart and WoW...1 had over 350mg of Sodium in 1 scoop, others contained pea protein(doesn't sit well with me), all contain soya(causes extreme bloating/stomach pain) and I'm finding that consuming more than 3 dairy servings daily is starting to cause a lot of mucous - NOT good for my COPD. I'm trying to bump up my protein intake to at least 100g a day without overtaxing my Cholesterol limit of 200mg and 1000mg of Sodium. This getting old wouldn't be so bad had I looked after my health! LoL My dad had a saying - 'We get too soon old and too late smart' Dammit, he was right! 🙃

There are plenty of good options out there on the internets. Google companies like "True Nutrition" (Custom blends of powders available), Legion Athletics (No artificial ingredients), MyProtein.ca, Within You Brand, 1st Detachment are a few off the top of my head that have decent products. We have to be careful with added prebiotic fibres at my house, as well as some other things. Leanfit has been a good option locally. We get it from Costco.

thnQ for all the info Craig! I have about 5 tabs open , checking out the sites you gave me! LoL I played a bit on the 'True Nutritian' website, concocting a blend. A beef collagen based powder sounds pretty good. Now that I am a bit more informed and know what kind of bases to look for - I'm gonna 'window shop' locally (SW Ontario) to find some samples - if available. We actually have several Health Food stores in town, so I think my chances are pretty good at finding something here 😉 Again...thnQ for sharing your knowledge!!
