I did some easy jogging today, mixed in spurts with walking, kind of an experiment to see how whatever was aggravating my sciatic nerve handles it. Will do the ice/heat therapy tonight, I guess I'll know the verdict by tomorrow morning but so far so good. At least it got my heart pumping, I wasn't hardly getting into fat burning zone even with a fast walk. Date night tonight with Spanish/Mexican food so the extra calories burned will serve me well.
It's 80 degrees in the DC area today and I worked out in shorts and a T-shirt. Might be the last time for that this year so taking advantage of it and will try to leave work a little early today.

I may not be an expert but what I read is that jogging is not good for your back, you are better off doing sprints, even short distances. Post your results. I am curious how this worked for you.
In California at the beach today it's 77, actually warmer than it is inland; which is unusual.

Yesterday we hit 80 and I put on yoga pants and a t-shirt. 52 and now wearing a long sleeve shirt, sweat pants and a hoodie. One or the other, prefer the cold.

I have some bad sciatic. Doc wanted to operate. A friend told me to try deep tissue massage. I finally gave in and it worked. Now I go about 3 times a year & everything is great! Just a suggestion.
