Weight trends and habits have been headed in the wrong direction lately. For me that means it’s time to go “Old Skool” and get back to basics with my Meal Planning & TDEE tracking spreadsheets. Hopefully this is the “reset” that I need to get back on track

Hey brother it’s normal for the weights to go up and down it might be due to sodium or excessive water etc. there’s nothing to do with calorie numbers please don’t beat yourself up it’s ok. Keep up the good work, stay strong and focused. You are doing amazing work.

Scale lies I would prefer measuring tape and pictures for comparison rather than what number says on scale

The scale is telling the truth. It’s my habits that have been lacking of late. I’m not being hard on myself. Just being honest. 😉 - I know the cause: Pizza, Ice cream, adult beverages…far too often lately) - I know the solution: Back to meal planning/prepping for one. But most importantly “winning the weekend”. The weekend has always been, and probably always will be my “tripping hazards” in terms of progress. The biggest difference however, between where I started, and where I am now, is that I can recognize and adjust accordingly. In the old days, when things went wrong, I would lean in and self-sabotage. Now I am older, wiser, and better equipped to deal with the consequences of my choices. Thanks for the words of support and encouragement though. That’s what makes this place better than most of the others out there. The quality of the people/community 😎
