Browngirlwithpcos's Journal, 20 Oct 23

Having a rough couple of weeks, got sick for a second time and now my sugar has spiked and is not coming down. When I finally found balance with food and working out and I'm seeing results, this suddenly happens. Spiritually, I have a guest(close relative)staying with me this week that doesn't want me to succeed in this weightloss journey. I'm just rebuking whatever negative energy is coming from there. ✝️🙏🏼 God got me through this journey before and he'll get me through it again.

some advice on sugar spikes. rub castor oil in your belly button. eat low gi foods as you eat less during the day. If you snack, it cuts that need down. I went from Hba1c of 11 to now about 6.

I also buy Tony ferguson desserts like their chocolate shake and have it as an after dinner treat... it's yummy. lost 5kg since July whilst bringing my hba1c down.

about the relative, assert your boundaries. it's your goal and they need to respect that

my husband literally eats 1500 calories a meal whilst I do 500. i had to tell him to stop telling me to eat more as my goal is to be thinner and healthier and lol sexier

The struggle is real, especially when life gets in the way. I think one can take time to recover whilst still being mindful of the goal. Wishing you a quick recovery and strength for the challenges that creep up

hi i also have pcos insulin resistance, so i understand your struggle, i also experience depression and aniexty, im currently taking pcositol, berberine, acv and doing atleast 10000 steps a day, im not weighing myself but im definitely losing centimeters and im feeling great. remember high cortisol levels and high intensity exercises can spike insulin/glucose levels. Please be kind to yourself💗
