Upper thighs are really aching after my first two days uphill jogging so I'll take it easy on them today and just try and walk out some soreness. I think HCB mentioned something about magnesium being good for muscle soreness so I'm taking some to see if it'll help. Funny that it hurts more going down steps than it does coming up them. The heat finally broke with the storm front that came through last night so looking forward to pleasant temps out this afternoon. Have a great Friday!

Been there, bought the T-shirt. Uphill jogging really puts the quads to test. Worse the 2nd or 3rd day. After that, soreness doesn't come back. Funny how that works. Good job. I feel for you, Buddy. Put some ice on em.

Uphill running really works the upper legs. Your muscles should stop hurting in a day or two. After that you should be good as long as you keep it up. Try and take t easy until the pain stops. Have a great day!

Yep, also potassium, and in a pinch... salt.

Yes! I take Magnesium in the morning and at night about an hour before bed - it relaxes the muscles among other good things. NM is right about potassium, too.

Well done for doing it. I'm sure the soreness will wear off, and the muscles will be stronger and ache less next time 😀

Great new photo! I take magnesium & prescription strength potassium for soreness, but stretching, massage, & hot tubs are better!

Nice pic Jim. It shows progress. Sore legs and abs are the ticket. Stretching, drinking plenty of water to flush out toxins and walking it off at a moderate pace seem to help me. I'm getting so that I enjoy the feeling...
