I wasn't very good food-wise at the VBS picnic yesterday. Ate a hot dog for the first time in a while, tasted great. That wouldn't have been too bad if I didn't follow up with 3 more before the night was done, plus chips, cookies, and M&M's. So up 4 lbs with it despite a small calorie deficit. I'm the "roamer" filling in where needed and doing security so at least that gave me about 8K steps, that's got to be enough to burn off at least one hot dog! Today and tomorrow I pay penance with low calories and will really look to limit fat, carbs, and keep protein high to help balance macros out.

It's funny -- we had Communion at my church service yesterday (every 1st Sunday of the month); I decided against trying to figure out the calories for and log one bite of bread dipped in 'wine' (aka, grape juice) and I reasoned that church (i.e., 'holy') calories shouldn't count!! Back on track today -- have a great week!

Oh those darn hot dogs! Last night I made some foot long hot dogs. I wanted the whole dang thing without it being one million calories so I used a regular sized bun. I split in half length wise and used my thumb to make a dent down the middles so for each half of hot dog I had a mini bun. I don't know why I love hot dogs, one of those mysterious things.

What is it with hotdogs...we were out this weekend and I was craving hotdogs. So we each had 2. I didn't eat the buns but kept hoping a piece would accidentally slide into my mouth...
