I have only just started, but am keen to continue. I would suggest you read Big Boy Optimus' journal here on FS. He has been following it for 10 weeks now. Also, see www.thefastdiet.co.uk If you can, try and see Michael Mosley's Horizon documentary - where it all started. What I like about it is that I only need to 'worry' twice a week really. I think as time goes on, one will start paying more attention to non-fast days, but with a little baby and the person I am, real focus over only two days suits me perfectly!

If you soon start feeling cold all the time it's because your body isn't getting enough calories so it shut down the first thing that goes and that is the body heat. That's always the problem with consecutive fasting days. Since it's summer maybe you won't even feel it, as soon as you'd starting eating more you'd be back to normal, have a nice day.

Thanks so much Glen. Appreciated it. Snezica, I certainly won't make back-to-back fasting a habit. I enjoyed yesterday as I seem to enjoy my fast days, but today has been hard and I've felt grumpy and close to binging. I now understand why I was discouraged to do this as it is very different to fasting one day here and there. Temperature wise, I'm in a warm place, so thankfully not feeling cold. Anyway, almost through it.

You will enjoy the 4:3 Fast Diest :) I started on 5:2 then decided I can do it as 4:3 and if I mess up it will still end up as a 5:2 anyway. I have not regretted it!

Thanks Big Boy. When I'm back home I'll consider 4:3. Fasting - definitely the way to go. I'm absolutely converted to this lifestyle! Thank you SO much for your support.
