I have felt really good these past few days and I attribute it to much needed help from a friend. I was eating the level one weight loss diet from LAWL for several months now, and since I hit my goal weight I've had a hard time maintaining. The issue is that I am ALWAYS HUNGRY. I get to dinner time by completely following my diet to a "t" and then make a poor choice on a big dessert or cheese curds to fill my belly. My friend suggested I use the LA Lites a lot less and use whole grains and fiber to make myself feel full. Am I following the diet exactly as I should be, and therefore, am I lying about portions of what I eat in my journal? Yes. But am I still eating within my calorie range, working out exactly the same, and feeling more full for longer? Yes! And in turn, the past five days have meant a loss of 1.2 pounds!
