In December 2008, I weighed myself using the local supermarket scale. I was 287 lbs less 5 lbs. for clothes is 282 lbs.!! I was a mess. I had no energy, my clothes didn't fit, and I was pretty depressed.
What spurred me to action was the worsening of health problems brought on by 10+ years of a sedentary lifestyle. No more of this! When I was younger, I was always an athlete! I WILL return to that condition but better than ever!!
I joined 24hourfitness the last week of December 2008. It's the first gym I've ever joined. ;-)
