Probably posture has a bit to do with it, depending on how I stand I can look "curvy" or like a circus freak!

I don't measure my waist but I wear a belt so I know how I'm going by the belt holes!

Measuring the waist alone will not suffice. You have to measure you neck girdle.

I try to always measure around my belly button so I’m measuring in exactly the same place each time.
