Well, I've been ill for the last couple of weeks, and had some injuries before that so my exercise has been at a standstil. This is unfortunate as it was the primary method I was using for losing weight, but I'll be starting again in a serious fashion this week. I would have started today but had a business trip (and what is it with McDonald's being pretty much the only breakfast place at airports?).
On an unrelated note, my wife has talked me into taking an
Aerial Silks (video link on youtube) class. Apparently it requires a lot of upper body strength as you are climbing two silken sheets hung from a ceiling, and then you go through a variety of dance steps. While I'm happy to humor my wife (and who knows, it might be fun) I'm really hopeful that it will improve my flexibility for martial arts.
