I have read research which shows that as you are losing weight, your cholesterol often increases as a result of your body using up your body fat, slightly more free fatty acids in your blood stimulates extra cholesterol production. So it’s recommended if you are losing weight, to give your body time to adjust and after your weight lose slows, it takes 4-6 months for the levels to adjust back downwards.

Oats, oats, oats. One serving of oats a day is as effective at lowering cholesterol as taking Statins, according to studies.

I have high cholesterol due to my autoimmune conditions and the meds I have to take. I have brought it down noticeably over the past 6 months between weight loss and trying to incorporate cinnamon as much as possible. 1/2 teaspoon in my breakfast smoothie, porridge, even sprinkled over my toast with peanut butter. My dad gave me that tip - he did it years ago per his doctors advice and got his cholesterol under control that way and he still eats lots of red meat and eggs

Hi you should try to drink fenugreek seed water, I give it to my mom each morning on a empty stomach, you should soak the seeds overnight and boil them for 10 minutes, then serve. You can find them at a doe near by. You can do further research on them, they’re wonderful for diabetics. I really hope this helps you.
