The good news is that my 5.68 mile run was longer than any I’ve completed in decades. The not as good news is that, having run less last week in favor of hiking while out of town, I was slower than my usual recent pace. But I’ll get my pace back up, and I’m almost to my goal of getting back up to running 10k (6.2 miles). Not sure where I’ll go from there as I never envisioned myself in a marathon etc. but I’m enjoying my fitness. It’s good for the mind, heart, and soul as well as the body.
