I have no explanation. I've been eating and drinking like it's Christmas but apparently I've been doing enough to burn it off. Kinda sad I didn't eat enough charcuterie to get even a little jump on the scale.

So I've been thinking about this all morning. I think it's because of two things.
1. I'm without my food scale. I think I'm probably overestimating calorie dense ingredients like cheeses and fats added for cooking. Volume measurements aren't super accurate and I'm usually to lazy to want to go the extra dishes of all the measuring cups and spoons. I also had a leftover donut this morning and without checking would have thought is was 400kcal but after looking up comparable donuts they were all 250-350.
2. I think I've gotten really good at choosing foods that feel indulgent but aren't calorie wise. Brie cheese is fairly low calorie, so is smoked fish. I feel like I eat a lot of chocolate and cookies but in reality I have 1 or 2. All in all not bad things but maybe I should get back on the peanut butter train for a while.
