Newbie here. I’ve been battling to lose weight for years now. I have an incredibly stressful job which causes me to comfort eat, and I am on 3 types of prescription meds which all have weight gain and increased appetite as side effects.
I weighed 55kg in my prime and over the last 15 years sky rocketed to 84kg. It’s been horrible for my self confidence.
I’m hoping this app, meal plans and community posts can help me overcome my food addictions and struggles.

hi Lize, I am in a similar boat as you, I gained 15kgs over 2 years! I have been on this app for about a year now and so far have lost 8 kgs! I have been on and off calorie counting, but it has definately changed my mindset to think before I eat. Some advice is calculate a reasonable calorie deficit for yourself and plan beforehand what you want to eat. Don't forget the small things like milk for your coffee and a bit of oil for cooking also has calories! Good luck!

Here with you. Cannot remember when I have not been on a diet of some sort. Have tried and failed at most efforts so chose here for the calorie counting made easy. Week 1 and lost 3lb - only another 88 to go

Liza! I'm sorry your work is stressing you out that really sucks. Kick some ass get your body back & enjoy the journey. Super excited for you. I believe that before the 6th month you will reach your goal.

Liza, you are in the same space I was in at the beginning of the year. Will take time but slowly slowly does it. I weighed 50kg when I met my husband and over 80 at the beginning of the year. Menopause, stress, meds and unhappy eating. I am 9 months later 4 kgs off goal weight. This app, community and walking have helped a huge amount. Keep going, there are good days and bad days. You will make it as you have taken the first step.
