Motivators are so important to keep us on track and re-kindle our fire on this quest to lose weight. Sometimes it can feel like we're a fish swimming upstream against the current and there are obstacles that block our path. Here's a few things that happened yesterday that made me feel good and gave me a motivation boost:
One, I ran into some school personnel who haven't seen me since school let out in June. They noticed I had lost weight and I got a couple nice compliments. Two, I got together with my daughters to practice some music, I hadn't seen either of them in a few weeks. They told me dad was lookin' good. :) Third, I got my lab results from last week's blood tests. Numbers for cholesterol, blood sugar, and Ac1 are all down, analysis of the results show I'm in very low risk in all categories although since I already have CHD I'm high risk there. The web site for the results is blocked at work but I'll post the actual numbers in another journal. All good stuff that gives a needed boost in morale.
Shooting for 1300 calories again today, should be moving around a lot as I resolve problems in schools. Have a great day!
