Down 5 lbs this week - and a total of 2 1/4" off the waist since I have started the YOU: on a diet. I think having a cold (nothing tasted good), plus the decongestants helped attribute to the big weight loss. But heck, five pounds is five pounds. I don't plan on seeing that this week, that is really not a healthy pace.

Wow! Great weight loss! Of course, it's never good to be sick and it's a pace you don't want to keep up but the progress for the month overall looks really good. Are the eating and exercise changes (like the many small meals and daily activity) becoming routine?

Yes, it is becoming routine. Actually, for me, minimizing the choices has been the biggest benefit. I decide on Sunday what I am going to have for bk and lunch all week, then throw in some walnuts and fruit and I am set. Dinner is more of a challenge with the family in the mix, but I typically have a small snack or some veggies with fish, and don't even plan on eating what they are.

Julie, Congratulations on the loss! Are you taking any of the supplements that the book recommends?

I am taking a Centrum Performance vitamin daily, plus 400 IU of vit. E, and and extra dose of b6, b12 and folic acid. I did the questionaire at "Realage", and followed their suggestions.
