I need help guys!

My mom is visiting from Germany, where she stays and I haven't seen her in a year. She's naturally alot leaner than I am. I always seem to pick up weight when she visits as she loves treating me and my brother.

Advice to avoid gaining weight and continuing to lose?

I think it’s important to communicate your goals with parents because they sometimes (with judgement) can hold us accountable. I think if you’re not too keen to refuse her little treats (lucky you that she still treats you hehe) i think make allowance for cheat meals? That would be my last suggestion though. Or tell her only 1 day of a cheat meal. But hopefully she understands and spoils you with something healthy.

I would try and count calories thereby enjoying the treats but mayb smaller portions and still staying within your allocated calorie deficit for the week.

Thank you for all the tips! I've told her I'm trying to lose some weight and she's agreed to help me stay on track, she's also wanting to keep healthier this holiday season so we're going to help each other. I've been watching my portions and have continued to lose! :)
