I was just looking back on my old data on here ( been here 7 years!) and typically I put on half a stone at xmas. In terms of extra calories that’s about 28,000 extra. Like eating double what I need every day. That’s just ridiculous so this year I’m going to try to maintain but won’t be disappointed if I go up a couple of pounds. I’m going to try and eat mindfully rather than automatically, but still enjoy all the indulgences!

Wow, I don't blame you. I'm aiming to have smaller portions of birthday cake and definitely try to indulge in just 1-3 days.

You naturally put weight on in winter anyway because your body needs to keep itself warm

Good luck with it Yasmine. I try to minimize the number of meals I overeat, but enjoy get togethers with family and friends. I.e., avoid unusual eating alone. And deal with any gains later.

Thanks. I'm prepared to deal with a gain or two, I just hope they're not too big!

I’m loving the great advice everyone is giving especially razor123ray. Also remember Yasmine, a few years back we were all worried about the same thing then. we all decided enjoy the season then do damage control in January and we did and you smashed it and looked fabulous. 😘
