We got a new dog. It was the best way for us to deal and has helped in healing our children. She is awesome and we love her.

As for my goal I already reached it for the week and it is only Tuesday. Yay!! I am very proud of myself for working so hard to do what I need to, safely and healthily. I am eating more now than before. I have so much more energy. I want to play and move around, it is amazing. I also thought about my weight loss a bit more differently. Instead of looking at myself at my highest weight like I tend to do I am reminding myself how much I am. Also if you take my 2 youngest kids and strapped them to me, that would be how much I have lost already. 33lbs. I can't believe it. When you look at it like that it seems so much more significant than I use to think it was. I can't wait to hold up my two oldest kids together and say this is how much I lost.

I had burger king last night, convenience only. We got home late and the kids ate before we left but I didn't. I wanted a burger so I got one. My husband went and picked up the food and ordered me the meal, so fries and a soda. He brought it in, I had only about 6oz of the soda at the most and no fries at all. Soda is not something I love so generally only have about that much 4x a year at most lol. Fries on the other hand I love. I was very happy I did not eat them and quite honestly I did not even crave them.

Speaking of cravings, they seem to be disappearing. Yay!! I knew this would be my year and it is proving me right. This year I will end my weight battle once and for all. 8 years of battling this is long enough. I am so excited at my new life. When I let go of the past everything in the present seemed to fall right where it should.
