66Pack's Journal, 09 Nov 20

So I got on the pedal bike this weekend for the first time in too long. In my travels I past this runner lady about 160ish lbs I’d estimate. On my return I had stopped and she walked by on a cool down so I said “hey, how many miles today?” Her smiling reply was “oh just 4 today... I’m 68 and they said it couldn’t be done!” I think my feet slipped off the pedals of the bike just then...... So proud of her! She looked so strong and healthy! It can be done!!!!

that's the kind of story I love. I'm nowhere close, but I want to be able to downhill ski well into my 90s. I've met multiple people who do so that's my goal. I know I'll be swimming as long as I'm able to move. My great aunt swam until she was just shy of 100. I'm almost halfway there!

I had to share! This lovely gal had a smile, a spring in her step, and a twinkle in her eye and nothing was going to stop her! And she knew it! 👍💪
