Gorgeous, gorgeous morning with clear blue skies, steady breeze and temps in the low 60's. My weight loss due to being sick has stayed, so I'm still 191.

Easy to walk 3.1 miles, bringing my total for the 50-in-30 Challenge to 4.6 miles for this week. I hadn't included the 1.5 miles I did late yesterday in last week's total, so I'm including it for this week. My "running" total for the entire walking Challenge thus far is 21.1 miles, so I'm doing well.

As far as the Pre-Christmas Challenge, I'm down 12 pounds compared to a challenge goal of 13.5 for the end of the 9th week. By Sunday, I should be halfway to the 30-pound goal, or 15 pounds. That means, I'd have to drop 3 pounds this week which is highly, highly unlikely. Still, just having this challenge has kept my focus on looking for ways to push myself just a bit and stay on track.

The Water Challenge started to today. With cooler weather, this may be more of a challenge than I expected!! But just having to add the same amount of water as I drink in caffeinated beverages, IN ADDITION TO 64 oz of water a day, will be a big hurdle for me. I may just float away!!!

Well, I'm off to do projects. I've just got way more projects to do in this nice weather than I've got the time or energy to do.


ADDED LATER:

Now, I'm not committing to this on a daily basis, but I did write previously that I need to increase my exercise maybe 100-200 calories per day to help make up for the reduced calories my body is expending due to weight loss. So, this PM, I hopped back on my Stairmaster and did a Level 1 (groan) interval routine for just 20 minutes. Burned 118 calories so "Go Me!" Forgot AGAIN to wear my heart rate monitor, so I need to put that out somewhere where it's visible and I don't forget to use it. This really low level routine definitely got my heart rate going; a lot more than my 3-mile walk did this AM.

I do know where you are coming from on the water challenge. I'm feeling the same way with the cooler weather and coffee. That takes me up to 11 cups of water/daily. I will be in the bathroom more than anyother place in the house.lol We can do it though. I have faith in use sandy. We will pull it off together.:):)

Gosh, you're right, I'll need to know where the closest bathroom is while on this challenge!
