CLOTHING SIZE

Is it just me or have the clothing sizes changed in the last 15 yrs. In high school I was the typical "thought I was fat yet was skinny as a rail" high school girl. I wore size-- are you ready for this -- ZERONow I'm 33 yrs. old at the moment I am a good 40 lbs. more than I was in high school and I wear depending on the stretch (don't you love the stretch they put in jeans now) in the pants I wear 4-6. Now come on-- of course it make me feel wonderful(it's alot better than the 18's that I had to squeeze into a yr. ago) but I have to keep reminding myself that it's really closer to a 10-12 of 15yrs. ago.

What I wouldn't give to be able to wear a 4-6......me...well my pants tag says 18, but they are all but falling off, I have yet to go shopping- I dread it! I was never a 0, but the smallest I was in high school was a 7/9- which I would be happy to be again- right now I think I'd even settle for the 10's!

All sizes have changed and it also depends what store your in. the more $ the smaller the size you'll be. when i started to diet I was a 14-16 and after losing 25-30 lbs now i'm a 4. don't think so but it does boost my ego!!!!

I have three pairs of jeans that fit me perfectly - one is a size 16, one is a size 14 and one is a size 12. I often shop at the thrift stores and I agree with jcomfort that the more pricey brands have smaller size tags without being smaller.
