I'm sorry, but I think this is a generalisation. Having your period does not mean you should give in to every craving and set back your weight loss every time. I also get a mild headache pretty much all of that week, but I find that a short walk or some exercise relieves it instantly and I usually have a loss, not a gain. There are healthy ways to relieve symptoms so try to find what works for you and don't accept that 'it's fine'. It does not have to be that way!

I also feel you. Im in premanapouse. Some months I pick up 4 kg water, skip that period and struggle to get rid of it for upto 2 weeks. Feeling bloated and discouraged.
