I had SO much fun this weekend! I went to visit a good friend a few hours away, and I didn't cheat at all :) Well, I cheated a bit in what I ate, but not in number of carbs (I'm not to the nuts or alcohol rungs yet on OWL but I still had them, in small amounts).
I only had two moments of almost weakness. The first was when we went out to dinner, and everyone wanted sushi...so I was just going to get sashimi (just the fish), even though it's expensive. But luckily for me, we went to a Japanese fusion-sushi sort of place, so they had wacky combos, which included 3 options for a rice-free roll! I had the Pink Lady roll, which was tuna, cucumber, crab, and spicy mustard. Delicious! I was very happy that I was able to eat sushi with my friends but still stick to my diet.
The second moment of weakness was a margarita. Mmm, I love me some margarita! I had a tiny sip, just for taste.
Dinner tonight was very good. Broccoli with some parmesan cheese on top and spicy chicken. I spent most of the day driving back to my house so I didn't really get a lot of food. Maybe I will have a bowl of low carb ice cream! Rocky road :)
Oh, and I'm in on the lose 4 pounds by Saturday challenge! I'm going to try really hard!
