At around my usual lunchtime, I stopped to check in with my hunger. I realized that I was not physically hungry after waiting it out for an hour. It's funny that it's so easy to think that it's time to eat when I see the time. It's important to feel the physical hunger first and then respond by eating. I like this new consciousness. It makes eating a much more satisfying experience.

That's a really good point, I actually have a lot of trouble with this and have been trying really hard to listen to my body more when it comes to hunger. Thanks for the reminder :)
