I hate salt! I feel puffy this morning.
Had to bolt out of bed at 8:15 because the phone and the doorbell rang at the same time. Guys were here to do yardwork and my sis phoned. I didn't mean to oversleep, but went to bed around 1:30am, so was tired.
Trying out some Chobani nonfat plain yogurt for breakfast. That stuff's pretty good.
And for dinner, I fried some Nasoya soft tofu. I've never cooked with it before so I was a little nervous about it and looked up a recipe that called for dredging it in cornstarch and frying in hot oil, Asian style. That was surprisingly tasty! But there has to be a more healthful way to cook it. I saw other recipes where it's soaked in marinade and grilled. That's probably better for you.

Do you put fruit in your yoghurt? I add vegetables like cucumber.

I love the stuff. Before I found it, I really couldn't eat plain yogurt or use it as a sour cream replacement but Greek is awesome. When I want vanilla I just sweeten it a little and add vanilla. Toss in some fruit or berries. YUM!

Yes, I always put fruit in my yogurt. Peaches, blueberries, banana, and sometimes coconut and almonds. Cucumber would probably be great at lunch. I have used yogurt as a mayo substitute when making tuna salad.
Datadoll, it is a good dessert substitute. I bet vanilla extract makes it delish.

Another way to use Greek yogurt. Mix it with salsa for a great topping for and omelet. I do a mostly egg white omelet with onions, green peppers, whatever vegies I am in the mood for, just a little cheese, and use the yogurt/salsa topping and green onion. YUM! oooh. That just might be my lunch!
