Oh, what a weekend... I spent the entire weekend in bed, laid up, sicker than i have been in a while.
It turned out not to be strep (thank goodness), but some kind of super charged cold/sinus allergy thing... I started feeling it thursday, felt like crap friday and was on my death bed Saturday. After taking every cold and sinus drug known to man, my mom brought over some saline solution to squirt up my nose saturday evening... and by sunday morning i could taste again! Its amazing all of these things we put in to our bodies, when the solution is something completely natural. I felt way better sunday, but still not well enough to work out, and figured i should rest up as much as possible so i could feel good enough to come into work today, which i did. But i spend the entire weekend on the couch or in bed, took like 10 naps, and pretty much ate crap. (who wants to eat fish and brocolli when your sick??)
So this weekend was a total waste. ugh. I HATE being sick, especially on the weekends.
So its back to the grind today, i'm hoping to make it to the gym this evening, do some running.
ho hum... mondays suck.
