When I woke up this morning my tummy hurt so badly and still does. The scale is also showing a pound and a half up from yesterday. The only thing I've eaten out of the ordinary is the mozzarella cheese from the pizza yesterday, perhaps i've developed some kind of lactose intolerance? I don't really have dairy products that often but have always been fine with them. Anyway, it hurts and now im scared to eat cheese. :(

If you don't eat dairy products & eat a large amount all at once (like the pizza), then you'll have lactose-intolerance like symptoms. It's just from your body not being used to digesting so much at once. It's just like if you stop eating meat for a long time & go back to eating it, many people get sick for a few weeks b/c the body is trying to readjust to digesting something it's not used to. Most of the lactose is removed in the process of making cheese but there still is some. So large amounts can cause this. Don't eat cheese/dairy for a day or 2 & you should be fine. When eating it again, just remember small amounts.

I am not sure about the lactose part, but I do know that cheese has a lot of sodium, you may be retaining the water. I wouldn't worry about the weight gain... :) I am positive you will see it gone in the next couple of days if you increase you water intake
