No exercise walking for me today, but got plenty of it just running all my errands 'cross town. After many miles driven, many stores shopped, some presents delivered, plus a haircut, I finally finished up. It took me nearly an hour to get everything out of the car and put away or otherwise dealt with....but that included some groceries too.

Despite my planning for this mega-excursion, my food turned out to be too high in calories today, but nothing catastrophic. Still....after making a renewed commitment yesterday and coming up with a new goal, it's a bit disappointing. But I can say that I truly planned and I did the best I could, so I just move on from here.

Tomorrow, I'll be back to a more typical schedule and plan on trying to put more order in my house! At this time of year, it seems like there are too many projects going on all over the house and they all create a mess and disorder! After a bit of time, that wears on me and I just want them all to be done and over with.

I know you will do just fine with your renewed plan and efforts. You are doing so wonderful! Oh my gosh...you are right about trying to get some order to the house this time of year. This is one that I need to do too!!

Hi Sandy, you survived the shopping/errand/haircut excursion, Yeah! I so hear you on the disorder & general chaos the holidays bring, same problem at my house too, no matter where I look, there is something that needs doing!

GG...all the stuff that needs doing just gives me a headache and leads to "holiday paralysis." I just gotta keep fighting through and set myself up with VERY small, do-able task lists. As for yesterday, I left the house around 9 and didn't drive back in until a bit after 3. Whew!
