Magnesium, or a little castor oil. I've never tried either, but I've heard they work like a charm!

Black Forest tea or Epsom salts. Both taste awful though, but definitely work.

I use Movicol, it does not work right away, takes a day but I do not get stomach cramps and it works the best for me.

One Magnesium Citrate pill per day. Magnesium causes peristalsis.

agree with BellieB.. psyllium husk is brilliant stuff. Good to use fairly regularly anyways.. I believe it encourages good gut bacteria because it cleans out toxins so thoroughly.

its only happened 2 or 3 times to me... i usually make a nice mushroom and chicken soup... no water... just a liter of milk and a full tub of cream... very very rich... but does the trick.
