3.1 miles walked; still battling a headache that just wouldn't quit yesterday, although it seems to be lessening....probably having to do with the change in weather (much drier).

Not happy with the election result and so.....very fearful for the future of this country....and our own personal financial security. At least I've lost weight so I can go out and do any kind of work when all the "old age" promises begin to collapse.

Today I'm thankful for:

* another opportunity to have a voice in the direction of the country in 4 years
* ibuprofen for headaches
* wonderful painting/masking tape that came off the trim cleanly, and
* finally being done with that blasted bedroom painting project!

Nice to hear your headache is better. Maybe getting that painting job done will be a big stress relief now. As for the future - I realized a long time ago that I'll never be able to afford to retire. I think the technology now exists so I can do my job remotely from the nursing home.

We have had a "bug" going around here I think, several of my co-workers & plus myself had a few days of a horrible headache & tiredness, takes a couple days & then back to normal. Hope you are heading back t normal. Plus, so glad you are finally done painting...maybe the fumes were getting to you. I am with Buffy...on the working from the nursing home game plan...good idea, really!!

Sounds like a plan Buffy....just need to find out what I could do from there - LOL! After all, if Steven Hawking can do all he did with his impairments, well, then we surely must be able to find something to do, as well.

Bren, did you get your fuzzy socks out already? Just saw some really nice ones in a catalog and I may have to get me some. It never gets all that cold here, but my feet (just like my ears) always seems to be over-cold when the temps drop. Hope the snow you get will be the pretty kind.

GG, I thought about the fumes. This paint is supposed to be low on the VOCs, and it doesn't smell all that much, but you can still tell that someone's been painting when you come in the house from outside. DH's office has a few people out sick, so he might have brought home some sort of semi-dilute bug - LOL!
