No change today, but I might go shopping anyway. It is Sunday, and I am getting sick of my pants falling down. They don't look so hot with the belt (and I don't like belts) but its worse to keep pulling them up all the time. Neither sexy nor, at work, professional.
My mom actually gave me a pair of size 14 pants that are too big for her, and I was disappointed to find that they were too small for me. Like, if I was this size but had a flat stomach they would fit but... I guess I'll just hold onto them for a while because I might need them at some point. Meanwhile, I know I can fit into other size 14s. My 16s have about 4 inches of extra room in them. I guess the key to wearing smaller sizes is to shop at JCPenney's, where I got most of the pants that I wear now.
There is a bit of good news, fitting-wise, however. I have this necklace that was given to me in high school by my best friend's mom. I hadn't worn it in a while until I tried it on a couple of months ago only to find that my neck had gotten so fat that it didn't fit. I mean, it fit on me, but in a grotesque looking way. I was feeling really sad about this. Now, thank god, it fits normally again. :) ~sigh of relief~ The neck fat was really bothering me more than the stomach area, anyway. I know I look chubby in my current userpic, but the amazing thing about it is that I was able to take it of myself without making a double chin appear and without taking the picture from overhead (as in my previous userpic) to avoid such things. It had been a while since I was able to do that.
The night before last I stayed up most of the night at my parent's house helping them prepare for an unexpected open house. Actually, I tried to go to bed at 11:30, but my mom stayed up making a lot of noise so I didn't get any sleep. Then yesterday I went to Sarasota with my neighbors to my neighbor's art reception.

That was fun, but I didn't get any exercise yesterday. I was so exhausted when we got back that I just laid around all evening and didn't feel up to even the littlest exercise. Oh, well, I guess everyone deserves a day of rest, anyway.
Still on the table is a bike ride to feed my brother's cats. Sooo far though... We'll see.
