Hi Alessa. I'm also asthmatic. I eventually built myself up to 15km runs with no walking inbetween. It will always be more work for us but it can be done. You show them!!!

just hang on there and take it day by day. i started as small as you. did not give up and am running or briskwalking my first 21 km race tomorrow.

I’m asthmatic too, and running 🏃🏽♀️ is a real struggle for me to... I do the treadmill but seem to get everyone’s attention because of the coughing... I’m inspired by you to keep trying... I believe it will get better, though it will take just a little bit longer...

As you get fitter, the coughing will get less. But dont overdo it untill you are fit enough. Just one day at a time. Your chest and coughing will tell you enough now. And then just listen. Go with it and it will get better. My husband is ashmatic and he did a 10 km but all in time.

Look on Google wim hof breathing technique it should do the trick. I am asmatic as well and easily do 4 to 5 km a day.

Try the None To Run program - i found it a great way to start running without getting discouraged
